WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR GLAMPING ADVENTURE

  • Food, beverages, snacks.

  • Extra drinking water.

  • Ice.

  • Personal toiletries.

  • Camera.

  • Sleeping bags, sheets, blankets (if applicable.)

  • Printout of directions and lock code (or at least a screen shot).

  • A vehicle with high clearance is always a good thing, although most cars should be able to make it directly to the yurt given dry conditions. There are two water bars across the road just above the Yurt.

WHAT IS NOT PROVIDED AT THE YURT

  • There is no plumbing or running water to or from the yurt. The toilet & shower are located in a separate facility close to the yurt (easy walking distance.) The sink for washing dishes is also located at this facility.

  • There is no electricity in the bathroom facility (only inside the yurt.)

  • There is no cell phone reception at the yurt, although I've been able to send messages with T-Mobile near our water tank. There is no internet and no satellite phone. (This is with the intent to be completely off the grid!)

  • The fireplace inside the yurt is a wood burning stove that does not plug in.

  • You will be in primitive country which means miles from help if needed. Please use caution & good judgment when at the yurt & enjoy the solitude!
